As soon as we all began to understand the impact of COVID19, Dr. Mona Masood sprung into action. She used her vast physician network to gather over 200 volunteer psychiatrists to staff the Physician Support Line which offers free and confidential peer support to physicians on the front lines of the pandemic. Assisting her in this effort on a pro bono basis was a former member of the SPA family, Greg Fliszar, JD, Ph.D., who now works for the law firm, Cozen O'Connor. We are very grateful to Drs. Masood and Fliszar and to Cozen O'Connor for making this essential service possible to support the physicians who are helping us through this public health crisis at great personal sacrifice and risk. Mr. Rogers reminds us in times of crisis to look for the helpers. At SPA, we didn't have to look very far.
